The purpose of this project is to avoid methane emissions from organic materials anaerobically decomposing in landfills, through the composting process to create a product for land application. The Bio6 Cycle facility in Strathmore collects and diverts organic materials from local landfills to be composted and subsequently sold as soil amendment product.
