The project will lead to reduced emissions from natural gas combustion for building heating, as well as through displacing centralised electricity from the Alberta Grid, through the installation of multiple micro-Combined Heat and Power (CHP) products in the range of 5 kW to over 2 MW. These systems efficiently generate electricity and recover waste heat for use as a heating source.
Project title changed from Power Ecosystems uCHP Waste Heat Recovery Project to Aggregated Small-Scale Waste Heat Recovery Project on March 12, 2015
