The Saddlebrook Solar & Storage Project (the “Project”) consists of the emission reductions generated through the generation of electricity by solar, a clean and renewable source as compared to electricity generation through fossil fuel-based sources. These greenhouse gas (“GHG”) emission reductions have been generated in accordance with the Quantification Protocol for Solar Electricity Generation Version 1 May 2008 (“Solar Protocol”). The Project will be comprised of a solar array with a total generating capacity of 81 MW, and a 5 MW - 25 MWh Battery Energy Storage System located on 300 acres of industrially zoned, privately-owned land, 3.5 kilometers south of Aldersyde, Alberta.
