Micro Renewables Offset Project

This project consists of the aggregation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions associated with the generation of electricity via decentralized solar photovoltaic (PV) systems that displace emissions associated with fossil-fuel powered electricity in the Province of Alberta. As the project aggregator, Re[source] Transactive Energy Inc. (‘Re(source)’) has collected GHG emission reductions created by individual facilities in order to reach sufficient quantities of reductions in accordance with the Quantification Protocol for Distributed Renewable Energy Generation, Version 1.0, March 2013 (‘the Protocol’).
