The Project consists of the emission reductions generated through the generation of electricity by wind, a clean and renewable source versus electricity generation through fossil fuel-based sources. These greenhouse gas (“GHG”) emission reductions have been generated in accordance with the Quantification Protocol for Wind-Powered Electricity Generation Version 1 March 2008 (“Wind Protocol”). The Project consists of one facility with 24 turbines with a total generating capacity of 122.4 MW located 30 kilometers southeast of the town of Drumheller, Alberta.
