Radicle Emission Reductions From Pneumatic Devices Pool I
The objective of this project is to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG)
emissions through the reduction of methane vent emissions in the oil
and gas industry. Many oil and gas sites in Alberta utilize gas-powered
pneumatic instrumentation for on-site processes that vent methane
emissions directly into the atmosphere, also known in the industry as
‘instrument gas’. Alternatives to high-vent pneumatic instrumentation
(also called high-bleed) includes low-bleed instruments, electric
instrumentation, and air-powered pneumatics.
