Himark Ethanol Plant Offset Project

The project uses an Integrated Bio RefineryTM (IBR) system to produce ethanol from high-starch grains. The opportunity for generating carbon offsets arises primarily from indirect reductions of GHG emissions by displacing fossil fuel usage with biofuel products. The project will not claim credits for the diversion of feedstock from landfill.
